The highly qualified and talented interior decorator staff at Hugo's will work with you to create the perfect short and long range solutions to your design needs and desires. Hugo's decorators have North Florida's largest selection of distinctive home furnishings and accessories at their fingertips. Additionally, Hugo's Design Center offers thousands of choices in fabric and trimmings. In-house craftsmen enable the whole design process to be beautifully produced on the premises and on time.

Richard Hugo

Richard A. Hugo is a certificate holder from the New York School of Interior Design. There he studied furniture styles, periods and the use of color and textiles. Richard's love for Hugo's Fine Furniture & Interiors began early. He traveled with his father, Edward to residential and commercial projects throughout the southeast United States. He was taught the art of interior decorating by his father as it was established by his grandfather Albert. During his youth, Richard spent summers learning every facet of the business - from delivery and upholstery to drapery and cabinet construction.

His present focus is large residential projects in north and central Florida and western North Carolina. His services include selection and specification for remodeling or new construction, plan review including plumbing and electrical, tile selection for kitchens and baths as well as custom cabinetry. Richard is assisted, on these large interior decorating projects, by other interior decorators associated with Hugo's Fine Furniture & Interiors.
Jennie Crosby Hugo

Jennie Crosby Hugo is the 4th generation of Hugo’s to be involved in the family business. A graduate from Flagler College with a B.A. in Fine Arts. Jennie is an Alpha Xi Delta, Epsilon Gamma Chapter alumni from Western Carolina University where she studied Interior Design. A member of MOCA & the Cummer Museum, you can find her at art openings all over Jacksonville.

In 2011, Jennie opened Crosby Designs for Hugo’s Interiors in the Historic Avondale neighborhood of Jacksonville. Crosby Designs offers all the same services as Hugo’s Interiors. This second location radiates an Atlanta boutique feel- mixing gifts with interior design, the old with the new, and contemporary with traditional. In her spare time, she loves being involved in philanthropy work-Monique Burr Foundation, working on her own art, antiquing and travel.
W. Terrell Bowman

W. Terrell Bowman has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Flagler College in St. Augustine. He has been associated with Hugo's Interiors since 1979 and is an Allied Member of A.S.I.D. Terrell has always been interested in his surroundings ; not only at home but also the architecture and the interiors of buildings he has visited during his extensive travels in the United States and abroad. Terrell incorporates the refined taste he has developed through his travels into each of his design projects. His philosophy is that interior decorating is a collaboration between designer and client with the ultimate goal of creating an environment suited to the unique requirements of the client. Hugo's Fine Furniture & Interiors is pleased to have the wide range of experiences Terrell brings to his projects. He is able to create functional and aesthetically pleasing interiors that reflect the needs, and reinforce the personal preferences, of his clients.

Terrell lives in the historic Riverside area of Jacksonville which he especially appreciates for its architectural diversity and neighborhood feeling, as well as the abundance of public green spaces.
Sherry Marshe

Sherry Marshe attended Southern Illinois University and graduated from the Interior Design program at Forrest Park College. She has been associated with Hugo's Fine Furniture & Interiors since 1996 and is an Allied Member of A.S.I.D. While attending Southern Illinois University she was introduced to interior decorating during part-time employment. Upon graduation, she began her career with a major mid-west department store. During her tenure she rose to management level. Her love for Florida weather and its beautiful beaches enticed her to North Florida. Upon her arrival, she began at a local furniture retailer, where her clients encouraged her to make a change to Hugo's Fine Furniture & Interiors. Here she is able to offer a wide range of interior decorating services, including custom draperies and upholstery. Sherry has been a very supportive member of the San Marco Preservation Society and has been chairperson of the "Candlelight Tour of Homes." Hugo's Fine Furniture & Interiors is pleased to have Sherry bring her love of historic preservation and Florida natural beauty to her design projects. Her ability to listen to her clients' needs and create projects tailored to those needs, make her a perfect liaison - whether working with architects, builders or remodelers.
Mary Martha Waterworth

Raised in Jacksonville, Florida, Mary Martha Waterworth’s family has long standing ties to Hugo’s Interiors. Growing up, she was surrounded by beautiful items of antiques, art, textiles, and quality Hugo’s pieces. She accredits her love and appreciation of historic architecture due to being raised in the Avondale area and traveling.

Mary Martha attended Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree. After college, she moved to Los Angeles, California where she found her love of antiquing. Her weekends were spent scouring local flea markets for unique items. She then moved back to Jacksonville, where in February 2012 she started working with Jennie Hugo at Crosby Designs for Hugo’s Interiors. She enjoys designing for clients with all different tastes, from traditional to contemporary. Mary Martha’s personal design aesthetic is mixing ‘the new with the old’ and she isn’t afraid of using color. Alongside Jennie, Mary Martha acts as buyer for both retail locations and designs Hugo’s stock upholstery and casegood pieces. Mary Martha enjoys volunteering for the Wolfson Children’s Hospital. In 2015, she cochaired the Decorations Committee for the Art and Antique Show and in 2016 is cochairing the Resale Committee for the event.

Mary Martha and her husband Lucas, local portrait artist, live in the beautiful Ortega area.
